RunSafe Platform
The RunSafe Platform is the web application where your organization views SBOMs, vulnerabilities, license posture, and risk analyses, and where you connect source code (for example GitHub or GitLab), create manually managed projects, and configure organization-level policies and notifications.

How this doc fits with Identify and Protect
Most use cases will be satisfied by using the Platform directly to integrate repositories with Identify and Protect. The separate documentation is for the edge cases when that is not possible.

| Concept | Meaning |

| Organization | Your tenant. Members, settings, connected code, and manually managed projects belong to an organization. |
| Project | A connected repository or manually managed Generic project that the Platform tracks. |
| Branch / ref | GitHub and GitLab project views are often scoped to a git ref. Generic projects use uploaded SBOM data instead of source control refs. |
