Find a component across projects

Open Components when you need to see where a component appears across the organization—which projects use it, which SBOM reports include it, and how many vulnerabilities are attached.

Start from the organization inventory​

  1. Open Components in the organization sidebar.
  2. Find the row for the component name and version. Each row shows project count, first and last seen times, and vulnerability count.
  3. Expand the row to see where that component was found (project, build when available, and SBOM report links).
  4. If many usages exist, use See more to search the full list.
  5. From an expanded usage, either:
    • Open the project Vulnerabilities view with the component name and version already in search (when the usage has a project and build), or
    • Open the linked SBOM report.
