Organization and navigation
After you sign in, you work inside an organization. Some of the features shown in this documentation requires the user to be an organization admin.

The Dashboard shows organization-level summaries and shortcuts (your layout may vary slightly by release).
Main areas
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Summary of activity and status for the organization. |
| Projects | Connect and manage repositories (for example GitHub or GitLab), create Generic projects, and view project details. |
| Protect | Organization-level view of projects with and without RunSafe Protect enabled. |
| SBOMs | Organization-wide SBOM listing and reports. |
| Vulnerabilities | Vulnerability views at organization scope. |
| License compliance | License posture and policy context for the organization. |
| Risk reduction | Risk reduction analyses available to your organization. |
| Settings | Organization configuration: users, license key, compliance policies, vulnerability alerts, integrations, and advanced options. |
Opening a project adds context for that repository or manually managed project. GitHub and GitLab projects use git ref-scoped views. Generic projects use the latest uploaded SBOM to show project-level SBOMs, vulnerabilities, and license compliance.
Settings
Organization settings are grouped under Settings in the sidebar (for example Users, License Key, License Compliance, Vulnerability Compliance, Vulnerability Alerts, Integrations, Advanced). These are documented in the Organization settings pages in this section.
